Leading the Way
The meticulous process of leading is well underway, with each piece snugly fitting into the heart of a lead, akin to a jigsaw puzzle. Straight lines prove more manageable than their curved counterparts, and the intricate Mackintosh roses demand extra attention and time. After leading and soldering around each glass piece, the entire creation has to be moved, a task that requires the coordination of four skilled individuals.
Navigating the Leading Process
Embarking on the leading process, cut glass pieces find their place on the pattern, bound together by the enduring embrace of lead. This age-old technique, cherished by stained glass artisans for centuries, relies on sturdy nails to hold the evolving masterpiece together during assembly.

Harmonizing colours to create a seamless flow becomes an enjoyable part of the design process. Utilizing a light box, the artist visualizes how the glass pieces unite, simulating their appearance in different lighting conditions.
