Immersed in the world of science, my background in neuroscience research fuels my profound fascination and inspiration drawn from the intricacies of the natural world.

The allure of nature, coupled with the mathematical elegance underlying structural organization, serves as the driving force behind my glasswork. Nature, with its extraordinary formations, provides a wellspring of inspiration. I completed a stained-glass panel that draws its inspiration from the crystalline structure of Vitamin C.

The genesis of this piece lies in a microscopic image of Vitamin C, serving as the foundational blueprint. Executed entirely in glass and lead, employing traditional stained-glass techniques, the creation involves the meticulous use of antique hand-blown flashed glass. Each piece is meticulously cut, engraved, painted, and stained using silver stain, undergoing the transformative process of firing in a kiln. The final assembly, using traditional techniques, involves leading up the panel.

This work has earned recognition, being selected for the prestigious 2019 International Festival of Glass—an accolade that underscores the artistry and craftsmanship embodied in this intricate representation of the crystalline beauty inspired by Vitamin C.
